This report was based on China Youthology's 2013 research with 2 months of intensive ethnography spanning across 6 different cities and the accumulated knowledge of Chinese youth from years of commercial and non-commercial projects.?
The full Chinese version of this report was published in the “City Pictorial” late 2013. China Youthology also organized a number of youth conferences to share the report insights in person. This report was widely spread among the Chinese youth and received many positive feedbacks.?In 2014, China Youthology was invited to present the report for more than 50 times to empower many international and domestic brands as well as investment firms with a better understanding of the Chinese youth. In 2015, we invested time in accurately translating the English version of the report (with 40,000 words in the Chinese version).?
Our hope is that the English version of the report will help more organizations and individuals to better understand the thoughts and lives of Chinese youth. From there, we hope to inspire more in providing valuable products and services for Chinese youth and to empower businesses to play a more active role in youth culture.
